On the morning of March the twentieth, there was a fatal road accident involving Chinese tourists in Thailand’s Southern Province of Phang Nga. A mini bus overturned in the middle of the road after it had slammed into the rear of a truck. Rescuers used special equipment to extract the passengers, seven of them suffering serious injuries. Two people died including the Thai mini bus driver. Waranon Boonkerd, the truck driver, said he was making a u-turn when he heard a loud bang at the back of his truck. Police said the mini bus was taking the Chinese tourists from Phuket to a pier in Phang Nga.
