Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission has given a fact-finding committee fifteen days to determine why its assistant secretary-general, Piset Nakhaphan, pulled a gun on a taxi driver at the Government Complex in northern Bangkok. The taxi’s dash-cam captured a man, resembling Pisit, pulling the pistol out and pointing it at the taxi driver. As people who witnessed the incident intervened, Pisit put the gun away and the taxi drove away. The clip has drawn criticism online and fifty two year old Pisit turned himself in to police claiming he was cut in front of and honked at by the taxi. The taxi driver has been called in for questioning.
