On August the first, Thai national artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, Director General of the department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, Thanya Netithammakun, and other national park officials performed Buddhist rituals in front of Tham Luang Cave in Thailand’s northern province of Chiangrai in preparation for the construction of the museum celebrating the dramatic rescue operation to help thirteen young footballers trapped inside the flooded cave for eighteen days. The museum is scheduled to be completed in about five months from now. The huge painting called “The Heroes” and a statue of the late Navy Seal Saman Kunan will be installed in the museum.
