Doctor Jesada Chokedamrongsuk, from Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health, says the eight young footballers rescued so far from the Chiangrai cave are in good spirits and recovering very well in a Chiangrai hospital. Jesada said two of the boys have lung infections and have been treated with antibiotics. They are expected to remain in hospital for at least one week. At around ten AM today, rescuers resumed the rescue operation and are expected to bring the remaining five footballers out of the cave tonight. A ninth boy is reported to have come out around 4 pm.
