During the evening of June the eleventh, police were called to a gold shop robbery in Thailand’s Udon Thani. Pittaya Sichaiyot, a shop employee, said a female suspect, whose face was hidden, asked to see some bracelets. After fifteen minutes looking around, she pulled a pistol from her bag and ordered the shop’s owner to hand over three bracelets, weighing a total of two point four troy ounces and worth over one hundred thousand baht. The robber also demanded cash but was told they had run out. The suspect then fled in a car with another woman. Police are still searching for the two suspects.
