On April the fourteenth, Thai Vietjet airline released a statement saying that the airline had fired two of its check-in staff at Thailand’s Krabi International Airport. The sackings followed a complaint received from a thirty three year-old German passenger, Mr Martin Frezel, who had accidentally left some of his belongings at the airport’s Thai Vietjet check-in counter on April the eleventh. CCTV footage clearly shows Krisada Tortid and Ittipol Kekina, both twenty eight year old staff of the airline, picking up a blue plastic container which contained one thousand two hundred Baht and ninety Euros in cash, as well as credit cards. Later police charged the pair with theft.
