During the early morning of May the fourteenth, police responded to a deadly accident in Thailand’s Nakorn Pathom. Firemen extinguished a burning car in which the charred remains of two people were found. The driver was identified as thirty year old Chinchot Wai-nam and the passenger as twenty year old Jiraporn Tongfa. Dash-cam footage shows the car travelling at a speed of one hundred and eighty kilometers per hour when it slammed into the traffic island and a light pole before bursting into flames. Police initially believe the driver might have fallen asleep at the wheel or was not familiar with the road but still drove too fast.
