Over the weekend, police at Thailand’s Suvarnabhumi airport arrested eight employees of a catering firm after they were allegedly found to have stolen more than 180 duty-free items from British Airways. The arrests follow an investigation into a complaint made last month by the airline saying their duty-free goods for in-flight sales went missing on twelve separate occasions. After a month long investigation, employees of LSG Sky Chiefs became the prime suspects. Police found a large number of brand name items, including watches and perfumes, in their houses during a search and all were charged with theft.
