A 30 year old welder, Watcharapong Paparn from Thailand’s Mahasarakram province, has built a mini car from old car parts. He had wanted to find a birthday gift for his son when found an old steering wheel. This gave him the idea of building a small car, so he got an empty oil barrel to hold the engine and driver, an accelerator and a gear-shift from an old motorbike. The car goes up to 80 kilometers per hour, but it cost under twenty thousand baht. When pictures of the vehicle went viral, Watcharapong received a number orders from customers.
