JELLY JAUNT
Viroj Wongtong, head of Baan Klong Son village in Thailand’s Trad province, says that recently an influx of multi coloured jellyfish has appeared near the shore. They are spread along several kilometers of Baan Klong Son beach, drawing many tourists to the area and giving the local fishermen the chance to earn extra cash taking visitors to see the jellyfish. Cool weather and strong winds of the Monsoon season had forced the jellies offshore, but now they are back. A trip to see the jelly fish costs 100 baht per person. For safety, only 4 people can go out at a time. The boat rides will be available until the end of November.
