On July the twenty fifth, residents of Thailand’s Khonkaen Province brought tons of relief supplies, including clothes, dried food and drinking water, to the Consulate General of Laos in Khonkaen, which has become a relief operation center for the flood victims in Laos PDR’s Attapeu province. Many of Thailand’s border towns have become relief centers. A number of trucks loaded with relief supplies crossed the border into Laos today after Laos’s Xepian Xe Nam Noy Dam collapsed on June the twenty fourth, causing water to flood into villages, killing at least twenty six, while one hundred and thirty one are missing and over six thousand people have been displaced.
